Terms of Service

Welcome to Tapinerary. These terms are a plain-language agreement between you and us about using tapinerary.com and the Tapinerary app. By using Tapinerary you agree to them.

1. Who we are

Tapinerary is built and operated by QiSynth, a product venture studio based in Prague, Czech Republic. You can reach us any time at tapinerary@gmail.com.

2. The service, and the fact that it's a beta

Tapinerary generates day-by-day travel itineraries with AI and turns them into a shared, tickable, installable plan. The service is currently in beta: features may change, limits may change, and occasional hiccups can happen. We work hard to keep your trips safe, but you should treat the beta as evolving software.

3. Spaces and passphrases

• Tapinerary has no accounts. Your passphrase is your key: anyone who knows it can see, edit and delete everything in that space.
• You are responsible for choosing a sensible passphrase and for who you share it with.
• If a passphrase is forgotten, the space cannot be recovered. We never store passphrases, only a one-way hash, so we cannot look spaces up or reset them.

4. Free allowance and paid credits

• During beta, each space gets a monthly allowance of free AI trip generations. The size of the allowance may change as we learn what's sustainable.
• Viewing, ticking, note-taking, sharing and maps for trips you have already generated are free and stay free.
• When paid credit packs launch, prices will be shown clearly before any purchase. Payments will be processed by a third-party checkout; we never see your card details. Because AI generations are digital content delivered immediately, you will be asked to consent to delivery before the usual 14-day EU withdrawal period ends; consumed credits are not refundable, and your statutory rights stay unaffected.
• Credits belong to the space they were bought for and cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.

5. AI-generated content

Itineraries, tweaks, translations and expert reviews are produced by an AI model. They are suggestions, not guarantees. Prices, opening hours, transport times and visa rules change and can be wrong. Always double-check anything that matters (especially tickets, visas and medical or accessibility needs) with official sources before relying on it. Tapinerary is not a travel agency and does not provide legal, medical or visa advice.

6. Fair use

Don't abuse the service: no attempts to guess other people's passphrases, no automated scraping or bulk generation, no using the service for unlawful content, and no reselling generations. We apply rate limits and small daily caps on AI features (such as tweaks, expert reviews and destination facts) to keep the service fast and affordable for everyone, and we may block usage that threatens it. Features marked as free during beta (like Lucky's expert review) may later become paid extras; anything you already generated stays yours.

7. Availability and liability

We aim for the service to be available and your data to be durable, but Tapinerary is provided "as is", without warranties, to the extent the law allows. To the same extent, our liability for any damages connected to using the beta is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months (which, during the free beta, is zero). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Data and deletion

You can delete your whole space yourself at any time from inside the app ("Delete this space"). Spaces that stay untouched for a very long time may be cleaned up automatically. Details about what we store are in the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and note the change on the site. Continuing to use Tapinerary after a change means you accept the new terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also keep the protections of the consumer law of the country you live in.
